Named partner in 2018, Michael Gray is a Senior Architect and the Managing Director of Carpenter & MacNeille. Mike joined the company in 2006 and has more than 25 years of experience in the field, including all facets of the design process for historic preservation, renovation, new custom-residential and light commercial projects. Part of the senior management team, Mike directs a staff of eleven architects and designers and serves as primary contact for new design opportunities for the firm. He has been the lead Architect on signature C&M homes, including OakLedge (2006-2009), the Chrysalis Award winning, Chubb’s Hill (2008-2009), and Red Roof (2012-2014). In 2018, Mike will also accept the Bulfinch Award from the New England Chapter of the Institute of Classical Art and Architecture for the Oakledge project.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Salem State University. Mr. Gray is a licensed architect in MA, ME NH, RI, NY and NJ, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Mike is a member of the AIA, BSA & NCARB, and serves on the board of the New England chapter of the ICAA.
